Busser Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking to hire a busser to assist with our banquet facility. This position is part time, as-needed. This person will assist the wait staff with the objective of providing our guests with a pleasant dining experience. Expectations are to support the servers primarily by clearing and resetting tables and tending to items such as coffee and beverage stations as well as other needs that may arise during the course of an event.
Duties will include a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
Re-setting tables with clean linen and place settings;
Removing dishes, glasses and silverware when diners have finished;
Stacking and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwash area;
Refilling water glasses;
Refilling coffee pots and restocking coffee cups as needed;
Assisting with food running to tables and/or buffet;
Cleaning up spills if needed;
Maintaining health and safety regulations;
Folding napkins and polishing silverware;
Requirements include:
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays;
Understanding of hygiene and food safety;
Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and to work on your feet for long periods;
Comfortable interacting with guests;
Ability to adapt to changing needs;
