Responsibilities

- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
- Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
- Assist with training new staff members as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash register transactions.
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and culinary practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
