In addition to commuter services to and from Manhattan and New Jersey, we offer an array of special events, sightseeing cruises and tours, daytrips, and getaways year round.
Job Summary:
Seastreak is now hiring Sandy Hook Beach attendants to check in tickets for departures back to NYC and sell tickets as needed. Representatives assigned to work at Sandy Hook will be required to begin their shift at Highlands and then transport themselves to Sandy Hook Beach.
Current shifts are:
Monday-Friday 2:30-4:30 pm (as needed)
Saturdays-Sundays 12:30 pm-8:00 pm
Holidays 12:30-8:00 pm (Depends on Holiday)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Scanning tickets as passengers board
- Responding to customer questions and inquiries
- Organizing passenger lines
- Selling tickets
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Experience in customer service (preferred)
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) after being hired. Certain felonies may exclude you from obtaining one
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn and successfully navigate an online reservation system
- Can provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to all passengers
- Willingness to familiarize oneself with Seastreak’s current offerings and schedules to best assist customer
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.13 per hour

- Weekends as needed
