JOB POSTING

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that build our brand's online presence and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, content creation, and relationship management to drive engagement across various platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years marketing experience showing success at building brand awareness with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
• Highly creative with aptitude for identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate current and potential customers.
• Competence with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Experience in content creation across various formats (text, image, video).
• Excellent grammar and writing skills, including the ability to express subjects in a concise, coherent, and convincing manner.
• Motivated by company growth both in terms of increasing followers online, engagement, and conversion.
• Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis to inform marketing strategies. Thrives in environment that encourages data-driven decision making.
• Excellent at having reciprocal, creative conversations with co-workers. Enjoys working with others within the creative process. Able to receive feedback and provide feedback professionally.
• Friendly and dynamic personality tempered with patience, flexibility, and professionalism, and a persuasive but not pushy attitude.
• Prior experience managing internal processes within a team. Ability to be organized and contribute to the overall organization of the team.
• Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
• Ideal candidate is on Instagram & TikTok daily through their own personal account in addition to the business accounts they manage.
• Love for the outdoors or outdoor activities - particularly fishing. Interest in cycling, boating, cars, or RV/camping is a plus.
• Availability to work some weekends. Enjoys travel to events out of state.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Social Media Strategy Development

• Develop and execute social media strategies on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube aimed at driving brand awareness and sales.
• Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies. Plans, executes, and measures experiments that are aligned with overall marketing goals.

Content Creation

• Create high-quality, compelling content tailored for different social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
• Organize content shoots with professional photographers/videographers.
• Leverage relationships with influencers and ambassadors to gain access to other content for use on social media and website.

Community Management

• Actively engage with our audience on social media platforms daily.
• Create and manage a network of brand ambassadors and other brands to enhance brand visibility.

Social Media Advertising

• Manages external digital advertising team by supporting campaign design and identifying opportunities for growth. Identifies trends and insights, and helps the external team optimize spend and performance based on the insights and informed by analytics.
• Track and analyze campaign performance to maximize ROI.

Platform Optimization

• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes. Conduct social listening to understand audience sentiment and identify trends that inform content strategy.
• Experiment with new features and tools to optimize our social media presence.

Analytics and Reporting

• Track key metrics and analyze social media performance.
• Generate regular reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
