We are seeking experienced Crane Technicians & Trainees to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Crane Service Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance, emergency repair of all cranes, and assistance to Maintenance Mechanics with the repairs of other equipment, such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle service calls
• Disassemble unit and inspect parts for wear.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cranes and other equipment.
• Drive to machine location.
• Write service reports.
• Orders parts
• Operate lift trucks and equipment as required.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company policies.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Crane Certification
• Experience with crane repairs preferred but not necessary for trainee position.
• Must have basic mechanic tools necessary to complete required responsibilities.
Key Skills:
• Working knowledge of ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.
• Effective communication skills
• Strong metric system knowledge to measure volume, weight, and distance.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
