CD Valet® is a new fintech and online marketplace that connects consumers to financial institutions to compare and open Certificates of Deposit (CDs) with the most competitive rates and terms nationwide. With daily rate updates and earnings calculators, CD Valet gives consumers an array of free tools to help them find the right CD to meet their savings goals. Banks and credit unions can attract more deposits through CD Valet’s advertising, analytics and account opening solutions that enable them to design, price and promote CDs to a targeted market of ready-to-buy savers across the nation. CD Valet is operated by Seattle Bank, and CD Valet and Seattle Bank are wholly owned subsidiaries of Seattle Bancshares, Inc. 


Position Summary 

The Business Development Representative plays a pivotal support role in driving the growth of CD Valet, a new digital marketplace that exists to help CD customers, financial institutions (FIs), and the communities they serve. This is a B2B sales support role that will help drive our business forward by engaging with potential clients, communicating our unique value proposition and ensuring disciplined follow-up to develop new accounts. This position will work closely with the entire CD Valet team, and prospective and new participating FIs. 


Essential Duties 

  • Sales Outreach: Reach out to potential clients through targeted calling, emailing and contact via LinkedIn. Deliver professional, effective communication to create sales opportunities and maintain deal progression. 
  • Lead Generation Follow Up: Assist with follow-up on leads generated through events and other marketing efforts. 
  • Schedule Demo and Proposal Meetings: Schedule meetings for prospects with our sales and product leaders to conduct demos and deliver proposals. This will also include inviting prospects to events or other opportunities for networking, product, exposure, etc. 
  • Pipeline Management: Support the maintenance of our pipeline, dashboards, and management reporting to enable ongoing evaluation of deal progression. 
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the customer onboarding process, helping to collect required documentation, capture initial requirements, transition to product delivery team, etc. 
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of your sales activities, including email outreach, meetings scheduled, and sales closed. Record valuable insights and feedback from prospects. Utilize CRM tools to organize and manage leads and opportunities effectively. 
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with marketing, product and other groups to share best practices, insights, and ideas. Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on progress and strategize for future success. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred 
  • 2 years’ direct sales experience.  
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales targets. 
  • Enthusiastic and open-minded attitude, eager to embrace comprehensive training and development opportunities. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to build and maintain positive relationships with clients. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a keen ability to articulate product  
  • value propositions. 
  • Ability to adapt to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools is a plus.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
