Seattle Central College is looking to hire a temporary full-time biology laboratory technician IV in the STEM-B Division.
Salary Range for this position is $56,916 to $74,700 (depending on experience)
Opportunity is open until filled, first review of materials will begin April 4th, 2025.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Dean of STEM-B, positions at this level supervise staff and/or have significant responsibility in planning, developing, implementing, and reviewing scientific instructional support programs requiring knowledge of a scientific discipline, electronics and/or engineering. Responsibilities involve supervising staff performing scientific instructional support including professional and technical work for the biology department; providing technical and scientific expertise in the coordination of biology instructional materials for biology faculty.
This is a temporary non-permanent classified position not exceeding 18 months.
This position is typically scheduled to work Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The schedule may vary depending on program needs. May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed. 40 hours per week would be the time commitment to the role.
This position works 100% of the time on-site.
This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by WFSE.
