As the Director of Medical Staff Affairs, you will play an integral role in the facilities ongoing success managing a team of 15 individuals with responsibilities in credentialing and privileging, delegation, member engagement & integration, provider assessment & clinical excellence, data management and analytics, maintenance of certification, medical direction, and regulatory / accreditation compliance. Our ideal candidate will bring their enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience to the Seattle Children's team.Responsible for compliance with the applicable Det Norske Veritas (DNV GL) Standards, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Standards as they relate to credentialing requirements and processes, and applicable federal and state regulatory standards. Ensures that the medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations, and / or policies reflect current practice and are consistent and in compliance with all standards and regulations.Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree or equivalent. Minimum 5 years in a medical staff services role and 5 years in a supervisory or management role.Required Credentials Certified Professional Medical Services Professional (CPMSM) by the National Association Medical Staff Services OR Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Certification must be continuous throughout employment.Compensation Range $126,805.00 - $190,207.00 per year. This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
