In partnership with the director, Care Coordination provides leadership, supervision, and oversight of day-to-day operations of the Case Management department. Serves as the central resource to the director to develop strategies which are efficient, effective, timely, and patient-centered. Using Seattle Children's leadership qualities and values-based behaviors the manager is accountable for achieving goals and key performance indicators associated with length of stay, care progression, and financial indicators by collaborating with all disciplines, departments, payers, system partners, vendors, and community agencies to optimize clinical outcomes within best practice, ethical, legal, and regulatory parameters.

Required Education And Experience

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). A Master's degree in Nursing may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelors degree in another field. Minimum three (3) years of related clinical nursing experience in an acute health care setting Demonstrated performance improvement leadership experience Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience providing day to day leadership/management to the assigned group of employees in a clinical setting

Required Credentials

Current Washington State RN license. National certification in case management must be obtained within three years (3) of employment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. Current PEARS or PALS certification will be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Preferred

Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of degree’s including bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration Knowledge of and experience using improvement principles and concepts in a healthcare setting Clinical experience caring for children with medical complexity Current or previous hospital case management or utilization review experience Current or previous case management or utilization review leadership experience

Compensation Range

$115,277.00 - $172,915.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
