About Us: Rebellyous Foods is an early-stage, plant-based food start-up. As a food production and manufacturing technology company, we are working to substantially increase the volume and lower the price of high-quality plant-based chicken products to effectively replace animal-based meat on a large scale.
About the Role: Rebellyous Foods is seeking a hardworking, conscientious, flexible, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who enjoys making a difference, being a part of a team, and takes pride in working at a high level in an extremely fast-paced, constantly changing startup environment. We are seeking a mission-focused and dedicated team member who takes on duties enthusiastically and independently to support the CEO, Chief of Staff and company with a wide variety of tasks of varying levels of difficulty. This position reports to the Chief of Staff.
Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the CEO, the Chief of Staff, and other departments to schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks as necessary.
- Coordinate external visitor meetings and facility tours as well as all-staff events.
- Set up agendas for team meetings, take meeting minutes, share with staff who need notifications, and follow-up with the point person on key tasks and deliverables when necessary.
- Support hiring efforts including recruitment, scheduling interviews, creating interview documents, and coordinating with candidates and current Rebellyous employees to keep hiring on track.
- Assist the Controller with various tasks such as collections or follow up on invoices, filing, etc.
- Coordinate trade show events for the sales team.
- Open, sort, scan, file, and distribute incoming correspondence, electronic or otherwise to ensure timely, accurate, and thoughtful follow up.
- Maintain, request and track insurance records, tax forms, and contracts from vendors and consultants.
- Create and track confidentiality agreements and other formal documents as necessary using Adobesign.
- Order, keep inventory, and stock office and department supplies.
- Assist with facilities requests such as replacing soap in the breakroom, routine maintenance checks, or getting the door, etc.
- Run errands when required, e.g. to the post office to mail a computer.
- Monitor the work and vacation schedule.
- Miscellaneous research projects, data collection, cost comparative projects and special assignments for various departments to support the CEO, Chief of Staff and Leadership team.
Qualifications: Candidates should have all of the following credentials:
- At least 2 years of experience as an administrative coordinator or assistant.
- Experience with
G-Suite applications as well as MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint. - Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Exceptional ability completing tasks to a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Organized, flexible and able to prioritize projects independently.
- Ability to work quickly, (with and without tight deadlines) and effectively.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and willing to take on new tasks to support the CEO and team.
Compensation Package: This is an hourly, full-time position with vacation and sick time accrual. The hourly rate range is $29-$30. We also offer medical, dental and vision benefits.
Location: On-site, hybrid or remote position depending upon applicant. Our headquarters is located in Tukwila, Washington.
