JOB SUMMARY:
Seattle Medical Post Acute Care is currently seeking a HR/Payroll Coordinator to perform clerical support and administrative duties in an efficient manner in accordance with established policies and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain all current and termed employee files and employee health files.
- Process all new hires and terminations, pay increases and pay adjustments.
- Notify managers of evaluations that are due and distribute evaluation forms.
- Process all background checks in a timely manner.
- Process all insurance, 401k, leaves of absence documents, verifies accuracy and send to
- Process payroll twice a month and print checks.
- Interface with VSO payroll and HR Department.
- Process and report on the job injuries.
- Complete daily census and labor hours reports and send to VSO.
- Train new employees in the use of the time clock and enroll each person into the time clock system.
- Provide department heads with copies of hours worked (as printed from the time clock) for employees previous to processing payroll to verify accuracy. Make necessary corrections to payroll.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Office experience including payroll processing
