Seattle Radiology is a Radia Imaging Center, located near downtown Seattle in the Nordstrom Tower. Our facility is open Monday-Friday. We're hiring for a full-time Patient Services Representative I.
Seattle Radiology is located on a narrow strip of land between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Lake Washington, Seattle is known for its bustling waterfront, lush evergreen forests and the picturesque backdrop of the San Juan Islands. Just beyond the water are two rugged mountain ranges, the Olympics to the west and the cascades to the east.
Position: This position is located on-site, at Seattle Radiology.
Compensation:
Hourly salary range $20.82 - $29.40. Salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.

The Patient Services Representative's primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding customer service for all our patients and internal/external customers, while being responsible for all aspects of medical reception.
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of clerical functions that support the overall Imaging Center
Ability to provide excellent in person and phone service, to a high volume of patients
Accurately enters patient information in a timely manner
Ensures the accuracy of patient demographic information, scheduling information and insurance/authorization information
Positively provides medical reception to patients following provided guidelines
Ability to meet performance metrics, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Ability to de-escalate conflict situations and or, knows when to engage assistance from department supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience, radiology preferred
Knowledge of medical insurance, preferred
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record system(s), preferred
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work responsibly and to maintain patient confidentiality
Must be very proficient in computer skills, multi-tasking and working with several software programs at the same time
Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
