SUMMARY
The Communications Intern will be responsible for assisting the Communications team with a variety of duties. We are looking for a motivated, responsible, organized, hardworking, detailed individual who is ready to gain experience in the PR and sports industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collect, organize and distribute daily clips
- Set-up weekly press conferences
- Maintain media room
- Responsible for transcription of weekly press conferences
- Tabulate team and individual statistics for various uses
- Update Teams online media website, familiarity with OMG platform is a plus
- Assist media with interview requests
- Write content for Seahawks.com
- Coordinate and execute player/coach/staff interviews
- Develop and distribute weekly press releases and media packets
- Assist in the coordination of credential distribution
- Assist with game day duties including press box set-up, in-game responsibilities and postgame pressbox obligations
- Assist local, visiting and broadcast teams on game day
- Coordinate and execute post-game interviews and transcriptions
- Willing to help staff with occasional evening and weekend PR events

- Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible to apply as well
- Sports Information experience encouraged
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be proficient in transcription and typing
- Must have effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, while keeping a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once
- Must be a team player and goal oriented
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when required
- Photoshop and graphic design skills preferred but not required

TIMEFRAME
- July 2025 – End of January 2026
- This position works 40 plus hours per week on average
- Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible
- Have authorization to work in the United States
- Be able to work 40 plus hours per week as well as game day/nights, weekends and other various events

The hourly rate for this position is: $22.75
