Software Firm needs a Jr Project Director to meet and greet clients at our Bellevue office, answer phones, and manage the back end.

We specialize in building client projects with remote development teams in the US and across Latin America. That means we need some oversight.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Director/Project Manager to oversee our software project managers and ensure the successful delivery of client projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, accounting, bookkeeping, and back-end data entry, with familiarity in Microsoft products (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus). This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure projects adhere to company methodologies, stay on schedule, and identify potential risks or out-of-scope items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of project managers overseeing client projects with remote development teams both locally and in Panama City, Panama, and Medellin, Colombia.
- Review client and developer communications with meetings with bi-monthly to ensure adherence to company protocols and methodologies.
- Monitor project lifecycles to ensure timely delivery and identify potential risks or issues.
- Collaborate with PM's and stakeholders to draft RFP requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and back-end data entry processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Will require occasional travel to Miami (stay in company Airbnb), Panama City, and Medellin (1-2 times per year) to interface with teams and stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between non-Spanish-speaking stakeholders and Spanish-speaking development teams.
- Ensure all contracts are managed accurately and identify out-of-scope items.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in software development or IT.
- Strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and back-end data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Microsoft Dynamics knowledge is a plus).
- Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to foresee and mitigate risks.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Experience working with remote teams is highly desirable.
