POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Content & Distribution is a key strategic leader responsible for overseeing and integrating all aspects of content creation and production for Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC. This role is instrumental in developing a world-class content ecosystem that drives fan engagement, enhances the game-day experience, strengthens brand loyalty, and contributes to business growth.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the VP of Content & Distribution will lead cross-functional teams across video, digital platforms, game presentation, and broadcast production. This individual will champion creativity, innovation, and collaboration while ensuring all content initiatives are deeply rooted in data-driven strategies and aligned with organizational objectives.
In this role, you will shape the future of how fans experience our brand-both locally and globally-while managing a high-performing team and collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Strategy & Innovation :
- Define and execute a comprehensive, forward-looking content strategy that aligns with organizational goals, emphasizing storytelling, innovation, and audience growth and engagement across all platforms.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies, trends, and platforms (e.g., AI, AR / VR, fan-generated content) to elevate content innovation and drive fan growth.
- Develop and oversee localized content strategies tailored to each social and digital vertical, and global market, ensuring cultural relevance while maintaining consistent brand messaging and values across all audiences.
- Ensure content resonates across all distribution channels-digital, social, broadcast, and live events-while adapting messaging for global audiences.

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 and eligible for bonus opportunity. Base pay at time of offer will take into account job-related knowledge, skills and experience required for the role, internal equity and market.
