Order Fulfillment Supervisor
A Fulfillment Supervisor oversees and completes the daily operations of order fulfillment and order delivery. Ensuring accurate and timely order processing, picking, packing, delivery and shipping, while also managing inventory and team performance to maintain high standards and efficiency. This position is a combination of order fulfillment and order delivery. Candidates must be able to drive a box truck in the Chicago Suburbs and Chicagoland area. 2 Days a week are in the warehouse completing order fulfillment and 2-3 days are delivering orders to Seattle Sutton Pick Up Locations.
Key Responsibilities of a Fulfillment Supervisor:
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of fulfillment associates.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Address and resolve team issues and conflicts.
- Train and develop team members.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Oversee order processing, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage restocking processes.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and deadstock.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control and logistics management.
- Inventory Management:
- Track inventory levels and manage restocking processes.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work closely with production to ensure cycle programs are followed.
- Quality and Customer Service:
- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the fulfillment process.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints.
- Contribute to improving customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improvement to increase safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Report on fulfillment and performance KPIs.
· Route Delivery Driver
· Safely operate a box truck and delivery van for route driving, ensuring timely deliveries to various locations.
· Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, including pallet jacks, while adhering to safety protocols.
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
· Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
· Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
· Navigate routes efficiently, adjusting as necessary for traffic conditions or delivery requirements.
· Handle manual transmission vehicles when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.
· Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized to prevent injury.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is mandatory.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory; must have a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and handling heavy loads safely.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
