JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Field Services Associate is to perform basic maintenance repairs, diagnose, maintenance problems, and ensure homes are in good condition. Members of our maintenance and field services team could be the first and/or last person a guest interacts with, making a large impact on our guests. Excellence in customer service and good communication is a must. The field services associate must possess a positive attitude and be respectful, energetic, and efficient.
All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional care, upholding Seattle Vacation Home’s standards and culture at all times.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Manage projects
- Estimate cost of repairs and projects
- Perform basic maintenance repairs (lightbulbs, smoke detector batteries, clogged drains, etc.)
- Diagnose maintenance problems (appliances, plumbing, electrical) and perform repairs or facilitate hiring of specialist.
- Mow lawn and complete small landscaping projects
- Paint
- Assemble furniture
- Troubleshoot in-home technology
- Frame and hang décor
Complete all assigned tasks thoroughly, efficiently, and effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in residential construction or carpentry
- Experience managing projects
- Experience in facilities management a plus
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work flexible hours and required weekend work.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and policies set forth by the company.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Reliable attendance.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently.
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on a regular basis.
- While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, sleet, heat).
- Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
