As the Director of Referrals and Intake you will be responsible for the set up and oversite of the Managed Referral Team (MRS) and the Coordinated Intake Services Department (CIS). The MRS team will establish a consistent method of caring for current community referral partners and identifying and cultivating new referral sources. The second area is a Coordinated Intake Services Department (CIS) that standardizes, streamlines, and coordinates intake and assessment services for people who are homeless. This team will interface directly with our homeless via a call center line, all Mission program intake personnel, and any outside service providers, including those identified by the MRS Team. This team is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all Call Center operations. Core duties include management and leadership of processes for the continuous improvement of the intake experience. Tactical emphasis is on customer care, quality management, Performance metrics include call efficiency, low abandonment rate, high conversion rates.
Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $102,000.00 Salary
The above pay range is a guideline. For candidates who meet the qualifications of the job, the Missions Compensation Philosophy is to target the 40th - 50th percentile of the range. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final pay rate to be offered. Factors include (but are not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidates work experience, education and training as well as internal equity, market and other business considerations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
How you will serve
- Develop a strategic plan to develop and execute each department
- Create, develop and implement the MRS and CIS departments including:
- Create policy and operational procedures for both areas
- Post openings and hire staff for both departments
- Set up the call center including analytics and scripts
- Collaborate with Mission employees at each location to build a best in class program for referrals and intake
- Create a schedule of visits and tours for potential partners
- Analytics for both areas will need to be set up and reported monthly
- Lead your teams to perform excellent customer service for internal and external customers.

How you qualify
- Acknowledge and sign the Mission's Statement of Faith (see below)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience required.
- 10 Development/fundraising experience required. Minimum of 5 years of major gift experience required.
- Successful regular solicitation of $100,000 gifts and experience with making $1 million plus asks.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Services or a related field
- 10 years of experience managing fast-paced multi-location teams
- Customer service background (internal or external customers)
- Proficient to advanced computer skills with prior experience working with a CRM

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment. Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Occasionally lifts up to 20 pounds and walks, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within the company. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
