SeaView's Recovery Center provides support services to adults who are in early recovery. Case Management is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care, coordination, evaluation, and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual’s (and family) comprehensive needs through communication and available resources to promote safety, quality of care, and cost-effective outcomes. Case Manager will assist clients in obtaining additional services needed including but not limited to benefits, outreach linkages, and medical care. Case Manager will also provide clients with referrals to educational services, employment, and other community resources, as needed.
The Case Manager is an energetic self-starter who can function comfortably in a team environment or independently and relates well to co-workers and representatives of other community partners. Case manager should have the ability to plan, facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate services that will directly impact the likelihood of client’s success, and must always make the needs of the client their top priority and must be mindful of the client’s values, beliefs, and culture. Case Manager must provide clients with access to resources, tools, and services to make an informed decision. This position requires flexibility and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks, as well as problem solve. The individual in this position must be able to assume a wide range of responsibilities, provide timely responses to requests and deadlines and works well under pressure.
SeaView is the premier provider of Behavioral Health services for the Eastern Kenai Peninsula, serving as the Community Behavioral Health Center and offering key residential and outpatient programs in both Mental Health and Substance Use. SeaView works diligently every day to expand access and utilization of behavioral health services with the goal of improving the mental health status of our community and decreasing substance misuse.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience.)
Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling, Criminology or Social Welfare, Child Development, or other relevant fields especially with regards to homelessness and vulnerable populations and/or social services.
Experience: Previous behavioral health experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as a member of a team.
Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license. Current certification as a CDC I is preferred but not required.
Other: TB test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, criminal background check and satisfactory driving record.

Benefits include employee medical/dental, retirement, and 3.6 weeks of vacation in your first year with incremental increases up to 7.2 weeks a year.
