Job Title: SUD Counselor/Sober Living Manager

Job Summary: SeaView Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor/Sober Living Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting clients through their recovery journey by managing our Sober Living Complex and facilitating various treatment programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance use disorder treatment and experience in management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sober Living Complex Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Sober Living Complex, accommodating up to 7 clients.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment conducive to recovery.
- Implement and enforce house rules, curfews, and policies to maintain order and respect within the community.
- Conduct regular house meetings and individual check-ins with residents.
- Coordinate client admissions and discharges in accordance with program guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all residents.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP):
- Facilitate group, individual counseling, and case management sessions as part of the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program.
- Implement treatment plans in partnership with Behavioral Health Clinician, tailored to the individual needs of each client.
- Monitor client progress and make recommendations to Behavioral Health Clinician for treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
Outpatient Treatment and Aftercare:
- Support clients in outpatient treatment programs, providing ongoing counseling and case management.
- Assist clients in developing and maintaining their recovery plans.
- Facilitate aftercare groups and follow-up sessions to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
- Connect clients with community resources, support groups, and other necessary services.
- Advocate for clients and assist them in navigating systems and overcoming barriers to recovery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certified in substance use counseling (e.g., CDC).
- Strong understanding of the principles of addiction recovery, including the 12-step model and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
