Confirm manufacturing of mold is possible
Design mold with customer and PMs quoted scope of project
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (The finer details of what the role is assigned for the day-to-day activities on the job. Tasks to support results.)
Ensure workable mold design
Ensure design meets the quoted scope of project and customer’s expectations
Work with purchasing to ensure all components are ordered to complete project
Identify correct components for projects
Develop primary design concepts for tooling working off the job shop sheets in conjunction with Tool Shop Manager and Project Manager as needed
Redesign components to achieve engineering changes
Designs secondary operations fixtures and develops process to complete scope of project with repeatability with aid of 3D printing
Responsible for design, update, and repair of 3D files for design and manufacture
