The below positions areeligible for an additional $2.00 / hr spring incentive added to thebase rate for hours worked starting March 8, 2025 - June 1,2025

Aquatic Attraction Lifeguard (0 – 3ft)

thisposition's base rate of pay is $10.50 / hr

Shallow Water Lifeguard (0 – 5 ft)

this position'sbase rate of pay is $11.50 / hr

Lifeguard (0 – 6 ft )

thisposition's base rate of pay is $13.00 / hr

What you get to do :

As an Aquatic Attraction Guard, Shallow Water Guard, orLifeguard you’ll be that extra set of eyes and ears that enableguests to relax and have fun. In addition to monitoring swimmingareas and helping guests in distress, you’ll greet and interactwith guests, answer questions and resolve guest issues. Youwill :

Maintainpatron surveillance on water attractions of varying depth (maximumassigned depth based on level of certification), includingwaterslidedispatch.

Prevent andrespond to guest and ambassadoremergencies.

Maintainan acceptable level of proficiency of park knowledge, water rescue,CPR / AED, and First AidSkills.

Attendscheduled in-service training and participate in regular audits tomaintain or increase skilllevel.

Maintaincleanliness and quality of Aquatica waterpark and supportareas.

Consistentlypractice safe work habits including, but not limited to use ofpersonal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafesituations.

Work aspart of a team to increaseproductivity.

Provideexcellent service to guests andambassadors.

Maintaina professional appearance anddemeanor.

What it takes tosucceed :

Mustbe at least 16 yearsold

Must bewilling to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays,weekends, andholidays.

Must be ableto stand and walk in extreme weather conditions for prolongedperiods of time.

Mustsuccessfully pass pre-requisite Swim Test for one of 3classifications oflifeguard.

Must beable to obtain an American Red Cross CPR / AED for

ProfessionalRescuer certification as well as one of the following lifeguardingcertifications : Aquatic Attraction Lifeguard (0 – 3 ft), ShallowWater Guard (0-5ft), Lifeguard (0-6ft )

Must possessexcellent communication and interpersonalskills.

Must bewilling to work as part of ateam.

Must be able tomultitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellentguest services.

Mustbe willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines andemploymentstandards.

Must beable to successfully complete all legal, company and departmenttraining requirements to include but not limited to passingrequired tests and certifications within establishedtimelines.

Above all,you have to be able to keep your cool, sense problem situations andmake quick decisions under stressfulconditions.
