As a System Control Engineer at SEB Professional, you will contribute to the design and development of firmware solutions for embedded systems. You will implement Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming solutions and create Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for enhanced user experience.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and four or more years of experience in control system implementation. Proven experience in developing embedded firmware is essential, as well as proficiency in PLC programming languages and various PLC platforms.
You will work independently or within a team, with strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations, such as UL and IEC 61131, is advantageous.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining embedded firmware for microcontrollers and microprocessors used in our products.
- Designing and implementing control logic using PLC programming languages.
- Creating HMIs for industrial automation systems.
- Integrating industrial automation solutions, including PLCs, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and HMIs.
Key responsibilities include identifying, solving, and reporting problems in the field, developing operation manuals and documentation, and utilizing design software tools like SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD.
