Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Supply Clerks to provide inventory management and supply support to the US Marine Corps to accomplish its mission at the US Marine Corps Logistics Base at Albany.
Responsibilities
- Receive, process, log and issue incoming parts and materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
- Utilize warehouse software databases to manage inventory and record issues.
- Conduct routine inventory checks to monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate inventory record keeping.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
- A valid certification in the field of supply management or 2 years of experience with supply support, supply clerical work, inventory control, or warehouse computer operations support is required.
- 1 year of experience working in a professional office setting.
- Must have basic computer skills and experience with common computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows).
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with military supply and logistics is a plus.
