In this full- or part-time animal care position, you'll receive a competitive salary of $100,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year as a base salary with potential performance-based incentives. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
As an Associate Veterinarian, you are immersed in a world of fascinating challenges and rewarding experiences. Each day, you conduct routine and sick examinations, diagnose problems and illnesses, and recommend appropriate treatments for a wide variety of companion and exotic animals.
Whether you're performing soft tissue surgeries, doing dentistry, administering vaccinations, or offering valuable pet care advice, you make a crucial difference in the lives of our patients. Our owners rely on you to keep their beloved pets in good health, and you are happy to help!
QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, you'll need compassion for animals of all kinds. You'll also need great communication skills and the ability to clearly explain medical details to our clients. If you are attentive to detail and driven to track a problem to its source, we would love to have you on our team. You'll also need to meet the following qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
Work experience as a veterinarian is preferred but we are willing to train you! If this sound like you, we want to hear from you!
WORK SCHEDULE
Choose from 3, 4, or 4.5 days in this full- or part-time position. Our current business hours are 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am - 12 pm on Saturdays.
