Job Description: Sebastian Landscaping is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving trucks and trailers, as this skill is essential for the role. If you have a passion for landscaping and enjoy working outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
This is for an experienced role, Candidates who do not possess the needed experience will be rejected. Candidates who do not complete the entire application process will automatically be disqualified from moving forward in the hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Lawn Maintenance: Perform mowing, edging, and trimming tasks to ensure lawns are well-manicured and aesthetically pleasing.
- Landscaping: Spring and Fall cleanups. Mulching. Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, and maintenance of existing plantings.
- Weed Control: Execute weed control measures to maintain pristine landscapes.
- Seasonal Cleanups: Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of sites by collecting and disposing of seasonal debris and leaves.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain lawn and landscaping equipment, such as Zero Turn mowers, Stand On Mowers, Walks Behind Mowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, and blowers.
- Truck & Trailer Operation: Operate crew truck and trailer from home base to job site(s) safely and efficiently. (required only for applicants with previous experience in truck and trailer operation).
- Work Log: Basic operation of company iPad for route logistics, site pictures, logging of day to day work, etc.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to efficiently complete tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to operate a truck with 12-14 ft trailer attached.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Basic computing skills for day-to-day iPad use.
- Ability to process and follow directions
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Ability to work outside regular business hours as needed
- Maintain a clean, well-groomed, and presentable appearance daily.
