Position Overview:
Sebastian Tech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Drafter/CAD Operator to join our technical team. This role involves creating precise engineering drawings and technical documentation using advanced CAD software. The ideal candidate will work independently on complex projects, collaborate with engineers, and ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet specifications and technical requirements.
- Maintain compliance with applicable industry standards and quality control guidelines.
- Perform production control support tasks using Microsoft Office 365 and other related software.
- Organize and revise documentation as needed based on engineering and customer feedback.
- Communicate effectively to resolve complex design, logistical, or coordination challenges.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Drafter or CAD Operator.
- At least 1 year of experience in a professional office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and commonly used CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on government contracts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
