Full Stack Developer (Top Secret Clearance)

Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Remote – Local presence required in Suitland, MD area
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret (SCI Eligible)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our collaborative development team. This individual will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications, with a primary focus on front-end technologies such as React, and supporting back-end services. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of analytical applications with primary expertise in either React or Java, while assisting with full stack needs
• Design and create scalable software and modern web applications
• Develop clean, maintainable code on both front-end and back-end components
• Write unit tests using frameworks like Jest
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and participate in backlog grooming and story estimation
• Assist in API development and integration
• Contribute to user story creation and acceptance criteria definition

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen born in the United States
• No foreign contacts, including immediate family
• Active Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• 8 years of overall IT experience
• 5 years of specific full stack development experience
• Strong experience with:
• React (Typescript experience preferred)
• Front-end and back-end development
• API creation and integration
• Modern debugging tools (VSCode, Chrome DevTools)
• Familiarity with code quality practices (e.g., addressing code smells and security hotspots)
• Certification such as A , Security , CASP , or CISSP (or equivalent)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience working in a consulting environment or directly with customers
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Proficiency with source control systems (e.g., Git)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
