Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for 3-way matching invoices, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proficient entering invoices by 3-way matching to Purchase orders and inventory receipts.
2. Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Communicate effectively with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies and handle inquiries.
4. Post invoice batches to the ledger via ERP system.
5. Monitor and track outstanding invoices, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue payments.
6. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.
7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).
2. Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar financial position.
3. Understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
4. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
5. Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
8. A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist where needed.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with Microsoft Excel a plus
2. Previous knowledge of Accounts Payable with high volume activity.
3. Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally, but not required Microsoft D365

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
