About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated, experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on a leadership role. As the Lead Veterinary Receptionist, you will not only handle front desk duties but also mentor and support our reception team to deliver exceptional service and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the front desk team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Provide top-tier customer service and build rapport with clients
- Oversee appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and payment processing
- Serve as liaison between reception and medical teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with training new team members and monitoring performance
- Step in to assist the veterinary team as needed
- Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Promote the mission of Second Chance and educate clients on our services
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a veterinary reception role required
- Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping animals and the people who love them
- Dependable, organized, and calm under pressure
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- A positive, can-do attitude and a team-focused mindset
