Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented Fundraising Specialist to join our team on a commission-based structure. In this role, you will be responsible for generating donations, attracting potential donors, and cultivating relationships to raise funds for Second Chance Families. You will be compensated based on the funds you successfully raise, making this a performance-driven opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek new donors and funding sources to support the mission of Second Chance Families.
- Build and maintain relationships with individual and corporate donors, foundations, and other funding organizations.
- Develop and execute strategies to meet fundraising goals and track progress toward these objectives.
- Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that fundraising campaigns are aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
- Reach out to potential donors via phone calls, emails, meetings, and events.
- Engage in community outreach and awareness-building to attract new supporters.
- Keep detailed records of donor interactions and fundraising efforts.
- Help organize fundraising events or campaigns, when applicable, to increase donations and visibility.
Compensation: This is a commission-based role, and you will receive payment based on the funds you successfully raise. The more donations you bring in, the higher your earnings. Your compensation will be calculated as a percentage of the funds raised.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or business development (non-profit experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire potential donors.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for the mission of Second Chance Families and a deep commitment to helping families in need.
- Experience with donor management systems or CRM tools is a plus.
