Second Chance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides people, materials and the environment with a second chance. We deconstruct homes and commercial buildings, salvage reusable materials and make those available to the public through our 250,000 square feet of showroom space. In addition to building materials, windows, doors and plumbing fixtures, we receive a variety of reusable lighting, furniture, artwork, rugs etc. through the generosity of donors from New England to Florida. These are also available for sale in our warehouse.

Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks required to create a superior retail environment and shopper experience. You will develop first hand knowledge of Second Chance’s material process flow as well as offer your own insight into process improvement techniques based upon your experience and education.

You Bring To Second Chance
- High energy and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Detail oriented, experience in managing multiple daily projects and priorities.
- Great communication skills, the ability to break down parts of a process into easily explained components to be shared with your team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook.
Requirements
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience accepted.
- 2-5 years’ work experience with a minimum of 1 year leading a diverse team.
- Flexibility in your work schedule. Second Chance operates 7 days per week. Managers rotate weekend coverage with days off during the week.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment where the temperature will fluctuate.
