Lawn Care Technician (Laborer)
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lawn Care Technician is someone with little to no lawn care experience willing to learn and grow with us. The position works as a member of the team, follows the Team Leaders instruction, assists completing jobs within specified hours, and works to exceed the customers' expectations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes lawn care duties such as but not limited to mowing, trimming, blowing, and paying attention to details, etc. as instructed by the Lawn Care Foreman.
- Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner meeting the company productivity targets while meeting our quality standards.
- Follows all policies and procedures up to company standards.
- Uses the company software efficiently to clock in for attendance and clocking job times.
- Actively helps the team leader gather equipment and tools in the morning as needed according to the job list.
- Communicates well with Crew Foreman and Supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and safe job site at all times.
- Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed and notifies Team Leader of needed repairs.
- Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to zero turn lawn mowers, push mowers, blowers, line trimmers, etc.
- Snow removal and ice management during the winter months.
- Follows Foreman’s direction effectively to ensure top quality standards are being followed and time is efficiently being used to complete tasks.
