What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Services Tech Intern position at Second Nature Brands?
This position as Field Services Tech Intern at Second Nature entails will support the build and distribution of computing equipment as well as covering helpdesk issues to be resolved by SNB personnel. If time allows, the intern may also provide support in the infrastructure area.
Essential Duties
- Configure computer systems for customer use, including hardware, OS, drivers, and associated software tools in use at SNB.
- Maintain hardware and software inventories.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computing hardware and software issues
- Document the PC build process
Knowledge & Experience
- Proficiency with computer skills required (MS Word, MS Excel).
- Proficient with computer hardware, including laptops, desktops, and printers.
- Proficiency with the MS Windows operating system.
- Self-starter with attention to detail.
- Analytical ability to identify issues, solve them, and escalate complex items to the appropriate parties for resolution.
- Ability to work as a team with other IT personnel.
- Ability to work with internal customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Solid writing skills a plus (generate process and troubleshooting documentation)
- Intermediate analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to contribute and thrive in a team environment.
Physical Demands
- Standing, sitting, walking, etc. Physical demand consistent with an office, professional role.
