- Lead an Operating Shift: Guide the production team during the night shift to ensure continuous improvement in performance and efficiency.
- Develop and Implement Shift Plans: Create and execute shift plans that align with team commitments and business needs to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct Team Meetings: Facilitate team meetings to discuss resource allocation, performance metrics, and address team goals and commitments.
- Measure and Track Team Performance: Use scorecards and gap analysis to measure, track, and assess the performance of the team, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure Proper Coverage and Expertise: Make sure that all line positions are adequately covered and that team members maintain expertise in their roles at all times.
- Manage Time and Attendance: Oversee time and attendance processes, ensuring daily verification and proper absence management for your team.
- Coaching and Development: Complete work plans and conduct one-on-one meetings with team members, coaching on key production metrics to enhance their performance.
- Training Plans: Ensure each team member has a comprehensive training plan and eliminate any barriers to completing necessary training.
- Interface with Other Departments: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective flow of operations, fostering smooth communication and cooperation.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate and address operational challenges proactively to maintain efficient production flow.
- Act as a Technical/Leadership Resource: Serve as the primary technical and leadership resource for all 2nd shift teams, providing guidance and support where needed.
- Education: An Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of manufacturing operational leadership experience, or 4 years of relevant manufacturing leadership experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in coaching, developing, and leading teams.
- Prior experience managing people and/or teams in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operating systems.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and other relevant production management tools.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- 100% On-Site
- Night Shift: 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Willingness to work off shifts (weekends and/or holidays) and adjust to operational needs as required.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
