We are a play-based and faith based Preschool located inside and as a mission of Second Presbyterian Church.
**Job Summary**
We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Infant Teachers to join our team. Candidates should have experience working with young children and possess the skills necessary to care for their changing needs. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing individualized care to children in a group setting. Candidates must have a love of children and a commitment to helping them develop emotionally, physically, and socially.
**Responsibilities**
- Create a positive and welcoming room environment that fosters a sense of collaboration
- Provide individualized care and attention to children, recognizing and supporting their unique needs and abilities
- Develop and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment by ensuring that all safety protocols are followed
- Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activites
-Communicate positively with families
- Maintain a professional demeanor, and ensure that all interactions with children, colleagues, and parents are respectful and courteous
**Requirements**
- Experience working with young children in a group or individually
- Some knowledge of best practives when working with infants
- A commitment to providing high-quality care to children
- The ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents, both verbally and in writing
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
