What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Consultant (BCBA/BCaBA) position at Second Star Behavior Services?

Sites: Private Family homes, Residential/Group Home Settings & Community
Description: Under the supervision of the clinical director the behavior analyst is responsible for implementation and tracking of both Independent Life Skills (ILS) and Behavior plans (BIP) for children and adults with a variety of developmental disabilities. Duties include report writing, staff training and supervision, creation of data tracking systems, & family/caretaker training.
Qualifications:
-Must possess MA/MS in Psychology, ABA, Education, Sociology, Physical Medicine, or a related field. *BA/BS will be considered for candidates in posession of or actively pursuing BCaBA certification.
-Must possess BCBA or BCaBA certification, or be eligible to complete BCBA or BCaBA supervision
-Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavior-analytic, teaching or caretaking role preferred.
-Must pass background check.
Schedule: Varies. Average of 35 hours/month. Additional hours are available in Oakland, CA.
Compensation: $50-75/hr DOE
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
