Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media & Digital Presence Mastery :Lead and expand our presence on all social media platforms. Craft and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that boosts visibility, engages with our community, and showcases our initiatives.
Generate compelling content, oversee posting schedules, and foster interactions to build vibrant online communities. Manage and enhance our website, ensuring it effectively communicates our mission, attracts supporters, and serves as a hub for our digital efforts.
- Strategic Communication: Develop and distribute engaging communication materials, including newsletters, press releases, and annual reports, ensuring our message is consistent and impactful across all channels. Analyze the effectiveness of our communication strategies and adapt to maximize reach and engagement.
- Design & Branding Leadership: Oversee the organization's design and branding strategies, ensuring they align with our mission and appeal to our audience. Work closely with design teams to create visually compelling materials that enhance our brand identity.
- Digital Engagement & Networking: Identify and engage with digital platforms and communities relevant to our mission. Represent Second Wind Dreams in virtual conferences and webinars to promote our cause and engage with potential supporters.
- Website Management: Take charge of our website's content management, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and reflective of our mission and current initiatives.Monitor website analytics to understand visitor behavior and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media management, digital communications, or a related role, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
- Strong content creation skills, with a proven track record of engaging a variety of audiences through digital platforms.
- Expertise in managing websites, including familiarity with content management systems and basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, adept at developing and implementing digital strategies to support organizational goals.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented, yet capable of working independently, with a flexible and adaptive approach to challenges.
