Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, self motivated CNC Programmer/setup person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CNC programming and machining processes to produce precision parts.
Duties:
- Develop CNC programs
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and models to create efficient machining processes
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts with tight tolerances
- Perform quality checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Experience:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles for process improvement
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for quality control
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Mathematical aptitude for calculations related to machining processes
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Lean manufacturing practices
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for quality assurance
