Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Our territory stretches from Southern Maine to the Canadian Border! This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. RIC card is required but we can facilitate you getting one if you do not currently have one. Pay scale will be dependent on the full scope of your role which will discuss and ascertain during the interview process. Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload products.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Cannabis knowledge preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Proficient in using navigation tools and understanding local routes.
