We are currently seeking a PT Armed Security Officer in Washington, DC.

Job Summary
- Our professional security officers are responsible for providing superior physical security services at our client’s site. They display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Essential Job Functions:
- Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
- Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors
- Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors
- Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations
- Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols
- Complete all reports and paperwork as required
- Provide first aid, CPR and assist during emergencies as necessary
- Be fully familiar with building layout, floor plans, manual fire alarm locations, fire extinguisher locations, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) locations, emergency routes, and evacuation assembly points;
- Remain on post until properly relived and pass all information relevant to the post to the relieving Security Officer;
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide overwatch at the front entrance and cover shifts for deliveries and event
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule
- Possess at least once of the following experience /education criteria:
- Prior Enforcement/Military Police Experience (10 years)
- LEOSA Certified
Abilities Required
- Must possess the visual acuity necessary to prepare records and reports and operate a computer terminal (if applicable).
- Must possess manual dexterity to operate standard office, data entry, and computer equipment (if applicable).
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions.
- Work is performed inside and outside the property with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis situations.
