Job Skills / Requirements
Position Responsibilities
Our Officers are responsible for providing quality physical security at the client site. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses
- Must be able to work weekends
- Liaising with security and building management to communicate, escalate, and solve problems.
- Creating detailed reports on building activity
- Patrolling site
- Performing duties in accordance with Post Orders
- Controlling/restricting access to the property
- Responding to major occurrences with intelligence, speed and accuracy
- Patrol and Rove for 8 hours
- Foot Patrol (8) hours
- Standing and Walking Post
- Must Patrol Sector as required
- Observe and Report
- Radio etiquette a must
- Report Writing
- Incident Report Writing
Qualifications
- Only applicants who have an active Unarmed DCSPO
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant security experience
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
