What you will do.
SECU is seeking an Executive Assistant to work 2-3 days per week in our Linthicum, MD headquarters. In the capacity of Executive Assistant, the employee assists with a wide variety of confidential and substantive issues that arise from assisting the CEO, Board of Directors and other matter of the Office of the President.
The employees judgment, tact, diplomacy, and knowledge of SECU are important to the CEOs success in dealing with competing and controversial interests.
A day in your life might include:
CEO Support
- Manage the activities and calendar of CEO. Support may also include coordinating CEOs social events and travel.
- Creates correspondence for review; edits and proofreads documents as necessary.
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Create, distribute and maintain confidential correspondence and documents
- Prepare and submit expense reports
Board of Directors-Backup Support
- Schedule, coordinate and handle board meetings, including agenda, minutes and filing
- Prepare locations for Committee of the Board and Board Meetings
- Act on behalf of the Board Secretary in their absence
- Assist with Board Electronic Communications
- Assist members referred directly from the Board of Directors
- Assist with special projects requested by the Board
Other Administrative Support
- Process special payroll for CEO and Office of the President
- Oversee payment of Corporate Visa Account
- May Support logistics for DLLR during examiner
- Support other senior level executives as needed
What we need from you.
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
- Extremely high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions and possess flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the organization
- Must demonstrate a proactive approach and ability to prioritize and perform work effectively under pressure while anticipating the needs of the CEO
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to independently write professional, error-free correspondence conveying tone and style of the CEO
- Ability to effectively interact with high degree of professionalism when interfacing with all levels both within and outside of the organization
- Must possess the ability to manage self and tasks, while adjusting to ever-changing priorities, needs and decisions all while maintaining poise, professionalism and character in what is simultaneously fast-paced yet still a relaxed and enjoyable environment
- Highly organized to work both collaboratively and independently while handling a significant number of tasks
- Strong internet research skills

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. Please Note: We typically hire at or below mid-point, which is $95,000 for this role.
- Salary: Min. $73,900 - $118,000
