Position Summary
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for Securance. The role of a receptionist is to create a welcoming environment for the organization, its clients, and guests while performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Greet and welcome guest as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls to appropriate staff; not limited to updating and verifying client information every encounter
- Update calendars and schedules conference room reservations and meetings
- Scan and electronically file documents and basic statements into Applied Epic system
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
- Manage company general info email by checking, sorting and forwarding correspondences
- Generate marketing automations in Applied Epic to current clientele
- Ensure cleanliness of our front desk and conference rooms and ability to set up conference room divider
- Decorate the front office for holidays
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times.
