Position Summary

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for Securance. The role of a receptionist is to create a welcoming environment for the organization, its clients, and guests while performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Greet and welcome guest as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls to appropriate staff; not limited to updating and verifying client information every encounter
  • Update calendars and schedules conference room reservations and meetings
  • Scan and electronically file documents and basic statements into Applied Epic system
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
  • Manage company general info email by checking, sorting and forwarding correspondences
  • Generate marketing automations in Applied Epic to current clientele
  • Ensure cleanliness of our front desk and conference rooms and ability to set up conference room divider
  • Decorate the front office for holidays

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Pleasant, professional, high-energy telephone voice
  • Proven work experience as a receptionist with superior customer service skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Resourceful and exceptional time management skills
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Availability to work between the hours of 8am-4 : 45pm; Mon-Fri
  • Bilingual, a plus
  • Applied Epic, a plus
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk

    Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times.
