POSITION SUMMARY
The Assembler 1 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical / electronic equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard
- Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and / or limited supervision
- Perform a variety of complex mechanical and / or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures
- Conduct inspections of own and / or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and / or customer drawing
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards
- Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Additional job duties and tasks as needed
- Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
- Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Secondary Certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
Experience : 0-2 years prior work experience in an electronics / manufacturing environment.
Skills :
Candidate Requirement : Candidate must pass a hands-on assessment to be moved to the in-person interview stage of the recruitment process. Candidates unable to pass the assessment will not move forward in the process.
