Based in the vibrant Cleveland, Ohio area, SecuraStock is experiencing rapid growth. We are currently on the lookout for a capable, driven, and hands-on individual to join our dedicated team. This role is unique, emphasizing breadth and adaptability over specialized depth. It encompasses various responsibilities, including order processing, receiving, incoming and finished good inspection, post-sales service, logistics, procurement, and inventory oversight.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a manufacturing quality role

Able to read measurement devices

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and general computer literacy

Meticulous attention to detail

Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork

Capable of multitasking and effective time management

Organized with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Willingness to engage in additional assigned tasks

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector and Technician to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring that our industrial machinery and assemblies meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, and machine software setup, working to ensure products are assembled to specifications and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical Inspection and Quality Control
  • Inspect parts, components, and assembled machines for dimensional accuracy, tolerance adherence, and physical integrity.
  • Utilize measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers, gauges) to verify that components meet technical specifications.
  • Identify, document, and report any defects, deviations, or inconsistencies in materials or assemblies.
  • Machine Software Setup and Calibration
  • Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot machine software to ensure it aligns with manufacturing requirements and product specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency, precision, and safety during assembly operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure software parameters meet quality standards and resolve software-related issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Record inspection data and create detailed reports on inspection results, issues identified, and corrective actions taken.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of software configurations, machine settings, and test results.
  • Assist in the development and revision of quality control protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify opportunities for quality improvements.
  • Participate in root cause analyses for product failures and recommend improvements to prevent recurring issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to assembly personnel on quality control processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in quality inspection and machine setup in a manufacturing environment, preferably with industrial machinery.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with quality inspection tools, and software testing.
  • Other Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Working Conditions: This position requires working on the production floor, with exposure to industrial machinery. Occasional lifting of parts up to 50 pounds may be required.
