Description
Job Description: We are looking for a dependable and versatile Flex Security Officer to work diffrent assigments across multiple locations. This position requires flexibility, keen observation skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to various sites and their specific security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned premises on foot or by vehicle to maintain order and security
- Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and incidents promptly
- Monitor security systems and respond to alarms or emergencies
- Provide assistance and guidance to site visitors and employees as needed
- Collaborate with on-site security teams and site supervisors to ensure smooth transition between shifts
- Adapt to varying duties and site-specific protocols as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid PERC card and 20-hour security training certification
- Flexible availability to cover different shifts and locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to respond quickly to any incidents or emergencies.

- Variable Hours: All positions are considered variable hour roles, with weekly hours subject to change based on operational needs.
- Compensation: The hourly rates specified in this job posting apply exclusively to this position. Securatex may offer other assignments with different pay rates. All required training is compensated for at no less than the state minimum wage.

- 20-Hour Certificate: Completion of a 20-hour security training course.
- PERC Card: Ability to obtain a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC).
- High School Diploma: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Drug Screening and Background Check: Must pass a drug screening and background check.
- Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical Fitness: Physically capable of standing or walking for up to 8 hours per shift.
