Job Title: Indianapolis - FT Security Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in downtown Indianapolis. The successful candidate will assist with the safety of hotel guests and employees. Patrol and secure the perimeter of the hotel and grounds. This is a Full-time position, 11 PM - 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the site to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Control access to the site by verifying the identification and credentials of hotel guests and employees.
• Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, following established procedures.
• Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities and any incidents that occur.
• Work closely with hotel management to assist when appropriate with security protocols.
• Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Drivers License and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Security Officer, preferably with previous hotel, guest service and residential experience.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long periods of patrol.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
