Job Title: Mobile Patrol Officer (3rd Shift, Full-Time)

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and alert Mobile Patrol Officer to work the 3rd shift in Chicago Heights, IL. The successful candidate will patrol designated areas, for the safety and security of properties during overnight hours. This is a part-time position with shifts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mobile patrols of assigned properties to deter and detect any suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
- Monitor and inspect buildings, parking lots, and other areas for security reasons.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, following established protocols.
- Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain accurate logs of patrol activities, incidents, and any observations made during the shift.
- Assist with locking and unlocking facilities as needed.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter potential criminal activity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other security personnel.
Qualifications:
- Active PERC Card (Permanent Employee Registration Card) is required.
- 20-Hour Security Training Certificate is required.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Must pass a drug screening and background check.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a mobile patrol or similar role.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight hours.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be physically able to sit, drive, and patrol for extended periods.
