Child/Adolescent Mental Health Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW)

Please note: This is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible, W2 position with the potential of earning more than one might as a 1099 contractor in group or private practice.

ABOUT SBCC: Secure Base Counseling Center (SBCC) is an outpatient mental health agency with offices located in Farmington, Northfield and New Prague MN. We are looking for competent, confident, and creative therapists who are committed to being part of a supportive team!

We offer a variety of services including Psychotherapy, DBT groups, Play therapy, and Rehabilitative services (CTSS and ARMHS). Our therapists see clients across the entire life-span! We serve rural communities and accept many insurances to give clients access to quality mental health care.

POSITION: SBCC currently has a need for a 0.8 FTE or 1.0 FTE outpatient therapist in our New Prague office, approximately 24-28 client sessions per week who specializes or has a special interest in working with families, children, and adolescents.

POSITION MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A master’s degree in a field of counseling, psychology or social work and fully licensed as an LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP. Pre-licensed therapists will also be considered. Supervision would be provided.

LOCATION: New Prague, Minnesota with the potential for some telehealth as well.

SCHEDULE: Schedule is flexible, but an ideal candidate would be able to work 2 evenings per week as well as afternoons to accommodate client’s schedules.

COMPENSATION: Clinicians at SBCC are W2 employees. One way that SBCC offers flexibility and autonomy for our clinicians is through the choice of two pay methods. We offer a salary program, with stability in pay but more set hours, and a pay-per-code method with significant flexibility in hours but some variation in pay from week to week. While our salary program does have billable hour expectations, we provide you significant support to reach these goals using a non-punitive model.

Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LP): 1.0 FTE salary starts at $70,000-$80,000 for independently licensed clinicians. Licensed clinicians who prefer a pay-per-code option start at $45-$60 per billable hour. Compensation is based on experience and other factors.

Pre-licensed therapists: 1.0 FTE salary starts at $55,000 for pre-licensed clinicians needing supervision. Pre-licensed therapists who prefer a pay-per-code option start at $35-$40 per billable hour. Compensation is based on experience and other factors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a caseload of a variety of outpatient clients in the New Prague office

• Maintain accurate notes and documentation, including but not limited to treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, and billing on the provided EHR

• Communicate effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner

• Pursue ongoing professional development, education, and training

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Able to work collaboratively with other clinicians

• Able to work independently on EHR documentation

• Willingness to work from an attachment perspective

• Those who are trained in DC:0-5 or other specialized trainings related to working with Children/Adolescents.
